Anna Chrapowitzky, a freshman at Bethlehem Central High in New York and the top returning eighth-grade competitor last season at Nike Cross Nationals, joins DyeStat editor Erik Boal to discuss Elm Ave AC competing Nov. 25 in the girls championship race at the Nike New York Regional at Bowdoin Park in Wappingers Falls. Chrapowitzky placed 43rd at last year's regional meet to help Elm Ave AC advance to Nike Cross Nationals in Oregon for the first time since the group competed in the inaugural Nike Team Nationals in 2004. Kate Bannigan, Charlotte O'Meara and Chrapowitzky are returning from last year's regional lineup for Elm Ave AC, and will be joined by Logan Kuhn, Liv Pachter and eighth-graders Sidney Graham and Tess McNamara, as the group attempts to secure back-to-back appearances racing Dec. 2 at Glendoveer Golf Course in Portland.
